While He walked on this earth, prayer was a part of His life. It was essential to His ministry and it linked Him to His Father. Jesus Christ prayed regularly (Luke 5:16). He often prayed alone (Mark 1:35). He prayed for Himself (John 12:27-28). He gave praise and thanks to his Father (Luke 22:17-19). He prayed for the children (Matthew 19:13-15). He prayed before choosing the apostles (Luke 6:12-13). He prayed on the cross (Luke 23:34). Looking at His life, what an example we have as we step into the presence of the Holy One and tell Him all of our concerns!
At NTM Homes we are surrounded by missionaries who are the “lifeline” to other missionaries – praying for them as they endeavor to establish mature churches among unreached people groups. You can join them in prayer as God’s Word is going out to remote areas of the world. Pray for Lance and Laura Ostman, their upcoming home assignment, and the work that continues among the Higaunon people of the Philippines. Pray for Tim and Andrea Ullum who minister in the Asia-Pacific region as they and the new believers in the area travel through the “hills and valleys” of life and ministry. Pray for Jared and Diana Jantz (staff at our mission Bible school) who work with and minister to the students as they prepare for a life of ministry. Pray for our retired missionaries at NTM Homes who remember the days of ministering overseas and are now dealing with the challenges that come with aging… medication changes, loss of independence, hospital visits, downsizing, pain, and loss. Your prayers for all our Ethnos360 people and their lives will make a difference. Read our recent newsletter to see how a few of our retired missionaries and NTM Homes staff are still involved in ministry.
Pray for our staff as we are short-handed in several departments… housekeeping, maintenance, IT, administration, etc. Read about the available positions that must be filled and pray for strength and wisdom for our teams as we function day-to-day caring for the many needs of our retirees. Thank you!
(Contact the webmaster if you would like to know more about our people… specifically our staff and retirees at NTM Homes and how you can pray for them.)
