While He walked on this earth, prayer was a part of His life. It was essential to His ministry and it linked Him to His Father. Jesus Christ prayed regularly (Luke 5:16). He often prayed alone (Mark 1:35). He prayed for Himself (John 12:27-28). He gave praise and thanks to his Father (Luke 22:17-19). He prayed for the children (Matthew 19:13-15). He prayed before choosing the apostles (Luke 6:12-13). He prayed on the cross (Luke 23:34). Looking at His life, what an example we have as we step into the presence of the Holy One and tell Him all of our concerns!
At NTM Homes we are surrounded by missionaries who are the “lifeline” to other missionaries – praying for them as they endeavor to establish mature churches among unreached people groups. You can join them in prayer as God’s Word is going out to remote areas of the world. Pray for the young Nahuatl church in Mexico who are without their missionaries at the moment. Pray for the Menya in Papua New Guinea who have, recently, heard the message of salvation! Pray for the Weeks family (and their co-workers) as they are just beginning to build a new home in a mountain village in the south Pacific and as they embark on learning the language and culture of the Maolagi people… desiring to one day share of God’s love with these precious people. Pray for our retired missionaries at NTM Homes who remember the days of ministering overseas and are now dealing with the challenges that come with aging… medication changes, loss of independence, hospital visits, downsizing, pain, and loss. Your prayers for all our Ethnos360 people and their lives will make a difference. Read our recent newsletter to see how a few of our retired missionaries and NTM Homes staff are still involved in ministry.
Pray for our staff as we are short-handed in several departments… housekeeping, maintenance, IT, administration, etc. Read about the available positions that must be filled and pray for strength and wisdom for our teams as we function day-to-day caring for the many needs of our retirees. Thank you!
(Contact the webmaster if you would like to know more about our people… specifically our staff and retirees at NTM Homes and how you can pray for them.)
